Coordinator Duties
As a coordinator you will help recruit, interview and select Citizen Scholar Fellows with the guidance of the Campus Compact state office and the M3C Fellows program regional coordinator. You will have an influential role in choosing a cohort of students that will help to institutionalize civic engagement in higher education.
You will become a mentor for your campus’ cohort, providing Fellows with oversight and academic support. You will be able to help students learn, while simultaneously using their talents to serve the needs of the community.
You will need to help set up the program at your campus. This includes connecting with similar existing programs on campus and submitting a Member Roster Form and a MOA Community Work Plan to the regional coordinator. You will have the rewarding opportunity of working with Fellows to outline major activities, tasks and time commitments that will provide them with meaningful service and the opportunity for personal growth.
Additionally, you will be monitoring and verifying Fellows’ activities throughout their term of service, as well as evaluating individual fellows and the M3C Fellows Program as a whole. Your insight will help us make this innovative and exciting program even better.
